I think there are always limitations to how risk averse people are.
Reality makes more sense to how it all is when it is contextualized from the standpoint of the person making the decision.
Do I make the decision to make a c-store owner or continue to grind as a grunt?
I think people get overwhelmed with choices and are very risk-averse if they have no fallback.
