Passion for technology? I know this is strange, but broken computers hold some kind of special power over me. Whenever I see a problem with my Linux laptop, I switch into a different mode and start working on it. I try one thing – it doesn’t fix the issue, so I try another and then another and then another…. and then it’s morning already and I’m still trying to fix the laptop…. until I finally succeed and everything works as it should. I’ve never been paid for computer repair, I am in a completely different field but this is just something that I do compulsively whenever an opportunity presents itself. Is this passion? I don’t know. Anyway, I’m glad your Mac is OK.
