I think Vimeo has resumable uploads, like YouTube, so even if the connection goes away the browser will keep retrying.
BTW, if you are interested even Vimeo has ftp, so if you are into crazy server setups you could upload the video to your vps and have it upload both to Vimeo and Podbean.
We have very shitty internet here in Italy and this is our solution.
I found out about Vimeo FTP upload yesterday. I think it’s going to be my go to for uploading while on the road. Web based uploads have been fickle as hell.
Working in open source projects I constantly leave a trace of bug reports, comments, chat
protocols and such. They are visible in every Google search thus I’m cautious what
I’m writing.
Maybe this is the problem, Youtube comments are not searchable outside of Youtube
(and also not really searchable inside Youtube), so people think they can fire and forget
there?
