  1. Well, Eli, you were the one always telling people to adapt to the market. You tell the IT geeks that want to make money off of swapping out hard drives to give up the ghost and move on into programming. Adapt, Improvise, Overcome. I love bookstores by the way.

    • … as an entrepreneur I agree… running a book store in a small town seems like a recipe for a slow, painful bankruptcy… my point here though is that if people want small towns to exist with actual stores in them then they need to buy from the stores…so many folks are so focused on getting the lowest prices that they miss what the outcome is. If you want your kid to be able to get a summer job, you need to support the local business that would offer them one. Save a few bucks now, and it will cost a lot more down the road…
