  1. As you mention there is the psychological component, as how a platform takes the faces of the people involved, maybe some level of imprinting.

    I have found so much really good quality content that there is some kind of loyalty from the users at getting content over any other platform. Almost 99.99% of the people from FailedNormal.com/SiliconDiscourse.com/SiliconDojo.com are followers from YouTube.

    As you said, after you find a content creator that makes a change on your psyche your looking to found the next channel, the next video, the next Eli among the whole pile of people pushing content over YouTube.

    Anyhow, I guess the first step as any other addiction is to recognize and accept it in order to move forward. Good luck on your detoxification process.
