  1. That’s strange about Brad Traversy, I like his content. He’s done a few videos where he opens up about his own mental health problems so maybe he’s actually trying to give advice, but agree, not really appropriate or professional to make those suggestions in the comment section (or to someone you don’t know personally at all).. I also haven’t seen he wrote FWIW…

    • “Some of us bust our asses to gain subscribers and provide good content and to see you with 913k subs just rant and whine about a platform that pays your bills is enraging. You are an incredibly smart guy with a lot of experience but you need to look at your mental state man. I say this with no disrespect. I am not just some asshole, I gain 1k subs per day and know what I am doing. I feel you could be doing great things with your channel but you are wasting it. You are self destructive.”

… … pbbbb… ??? Am I the only one that thinks this deserves the middle finger? I can’t imagine leaving this on a creators comments. To be clear I’m not “hurt” or emotional, I’m just personally shocked a creator with 450K subs and 2 mil views per month would go down this path. I’m sane as a cucumber and happy as hell. I don’t see how being pissed at YouTube for being a terrible platform makes me “self destructive”… ah well… frankly after “he who will not be named” appeared to go after Tailosive I lost every ounce of giving a darn… the tumor is malignant… YouTube’s cancer has spread to the bone…

Honestly he may be a very good guy, but what I’m seeing is that YT is doing something to creators. I don’t want to start screaming about Gay Frogs, but… there’s something in the water. I’ll put $5 bill on the table that something incredibly nasty happens soon’ish. I just have that feeling in my bones that it’s time to leave the party before someone pulls a weapon… cross your fingers… I hope I’m wrong…

  2. Eli, when you were shopping for your new tt did you happen to check out the Nest? If so, why did you choose the Sport over the Nest? Just curious. Now you got me checking these things out for realz.

    • HELL NO!!!

You want a permanent bed. Having a dining set turn into a bed would suck unless you’re always in warm places and eat outside. Honestly our first 19 footer only cost around $12K all in. I’d say buy a cheap beater to get the feel for it, and then think about upgrading in a couple of years. $45K is a chunk of money to drop on an experiment. You can buy a decent 30 footer for $30-$40K brand new…

I recommend Airstream when you’re confident enough to buy something you’ll use for a decade or two. Before that go cheap… used trailers go for peanuts… I’d bet you could get a used 19 footer for $6k and sell it for $5k after 2 years….

The RV life is great, but… … it’s its own world… as with many things it is definitely not for everyone, but you won’t know until you’ve done it.
